Gold price today: Gold prices rose to an all-time high of Rs 76,000 per 10 grams on the Multi Commodity Exchange. Gold futures for October expiry rose as much as 1.32 per cent to hit an all-time high of Rs 76,000 on the MCX, data from the commodity exchange showed. Surge in gold price came after price of gold on Commex rose 0.32 per cent to $2,685.90.

Slew of reasons like rising geo political tensions across the world with Israel-Hamas war and Russia-Ukraine war lingering on and larger than expected interest rate cut by the US Federal Reserve are leading to surge in demand for gold which is considered as a safe haven asset.

Gold price today 22 Carat

Price of 22 carat gold in Delhi was Rs 7,075 per gram, in Mumbai 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 7,060, in Kolkata, gold of 22 karat purity was being sold at Rs 7,060 per gram and in Chennai 22 carat gold was priced at Rs 7,060 per gram.

Gold price today 24 Carat

Gold with 24 carat purity was priced at Rs 7,702 per gram in Chennai, in Kolkata fine gold was priced at Rs 7,702 per gram, Mumbai saw 24 carat gold being sold at R s 7,702 per gram while in Delhi 24 carat gold was being retailed at Rs 7,717.

Gold price today 18 Carat

In Mumbai gold with purity of 18 carat was being sold at Rs 5,777 per one gram, likewise in Chennai 18 carat gold was priced at Rs 5,783, in Delhi 18 carat gold was priced at Rs 5,789 and Kolkata saw 18 carat gold being retailed at Rs 5,777per one gram.
