Gold and Silver Prices Climb: Check Latest Rates in Key Cities
Gold and silver prices see a rise today, with Delhi's 24-carat gold priced at Rs 79,383 and silver at Rs 95,700 per kilogram.
Gold prices saw a slight uptick today, with the cost of 24-carat gold reaching Rs 79,383 per 10 grams in Delhi. The price of silver also climbed, standing at Rs 95,700 per kilogram in the capital.
For gold, the current rate per gram of 24-carat stands at Rs 7,938.3, reflecting an increase of ₹870 since the last update. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 7,278.3 per gram, a rise of Rs 800. Despite today’s jump, the monthly and weekly trends show minor declines, with 24-carat gold prices dipping by 0.22% over the past week and 0.14% over the past month.
Silver, too, has gained momentum, with its rate increasing by Rs 2,200 per kilogram.
Gold prices in key southern cities
Gold prices in southern cities have shown a slight increase. In Chennai, gold is priced at Rs 79,231 per 10 grams, up from yesterday's Rs 78,031. Bangalore follows closely with a rate of Rs 79,225 per 10 grams, compared to Rs 78,025 the previous day. In Hyderabad, the price stands at Rs 79,239 per 10 grams, an increase from Rs 78,039. Visakhapatnam recorded a rate of Rs 79,247 per 10 grams, rising from Rs 78,047, while Vijayawada saw a similar trend with gold priced at Rs 79,245 per 10 grams, up from Rs 78,045 yesterday.
Silver prices across southern cities
Silver prices have seen a notable surge across southern cities. In Chennai, silver is now priced at Rs 1,02,800 per kilogram, up from Rs 1,00,600 yesterday. Bangalore recorded a rate of Rs 94,700 per kilogram, rising from Rs 92,500. Hyderabad reported silver at Rs 1,03,400 per kilogram, an increase from Rs 1,01,200. Visakhapatnam saw silver prices climb to Rs 1,01,800 per kilogram, up from Rs 99,600, while Vijayawada registered the highest rate at Rs 1,04,200 per kilogram, compared to Rs 1,02,000 the previous day.
