The platform's statement highlights its non-association with resale platforms such as Viagogo and Gigsberg, warning fans against purchasing overpriced tickets, which may turn out to be fake.“BookMyShow has no association with any ticket selling/reselling platforms such as Viagogo and Gigsberg or third party individuals for the purpose of reselling of Coldplay's Music Of The Spheres World Tour 2025 in India,” the company said in a statement. “Scalping is strictly condemned and punishable by law in India. We have filed a complaint with the police authorities and will provide complete support to them in the investigation of this matter. We urge you not to fall victim to these scams. The company stressed the risks involved in purchasing tickets from unauthorised sources and vowed to support authorities in cracking down on these practices.This isn't the first time the resale of concert tickets at inflated prices has come into the spotlight.
