Infosys Q3 Results: Net Profit up 11.4% To Rs 6806, Revenue Up by 7.6%
In terms of workforce growth, Infosys reported an increase in headcount for the second consecutive quarter, further supporting its ongoing expansion.
Infosys Q3 results are announced and this time the net profit has gone up by 11.4 per cent to Rs 6,806 from Rs 6,106 in the same period last year. The operating margin for Q3 stood Q3 stood at 21.3 per cent, marking a slight increase of 0.2 per cent sequentially and 0.8 per cent year-on-year. This margin improvement is seen as a positive indicator of Infosys' ability to manage operational efficiency and cost structures effectively. The company also posted the highest-ever free cash flow of $1,263 million, a remarkable 90 per cent increase compared to the previous year.
Infosys has delivered robust results for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, reporting a 1.7 per cent sequential growth and 6.1 per cent year-on-year growth in revenues, amounting to $4,939 million in constant currency terms. The results reflect the company’s continued strong performance and market resilience amidst a competitive landscape. Infosys also saw significant success in its large deal wins, with a total contract value (TCV) of $2.5 billion. Notably, 63 per cent of these deals were net new, contributing to a strong sequential growth of 57 per cent in large deal wins, highlighting the company’s ability to capture new business in a competitive market.

The company’s profit after tax (PAT) is expected to grow by 3.8 per cent quarter-on-quarter, reaching Rs 6,753 crore, compared to Rs 6,506 crore in the previous quarter. In terms of EBIT (Earnings Before Interest and Tax), Infosys is estimated to report Rs 8,791 crore, a slight increase from Rs 8,649 crore in Q2 FY25. Analysts note that Infosys’ performance is likely to surpass that of rivals like TCS, whose constant currency revenue growth was flat on a sequential basis. While Infosys’ anticipated constant currency growth of 0.9 per cent for the quarter remains strong, it is lower than the 3.8 per cent growth reported by HCLTech.
