Zomato Founder Deepinder Goyal Offers Job To Man For His Suggestion On X - See Post
The post suggested ways in which Zomato could improve its food rescue feature launched by them recently
Appreciating a suggestion made by Bengaluru-based X user, Zomato founder Deepender Goyal offered him a job. The post suggested ways in which Zomato could improve its food rescue feature launched by them recently.
What Were The Suggestions
Bhanu's suggestions said the new feature, "1. should not be applicable to COD 2.Cancellation should not be allowed if the delivery reaches 500 m to the delivery point 3.Chances of 2 idiots sharing meals ordering and cancelling at the same time getting a discount place 4.< two cancellations are allowed/ month."
Goyal replied, "All this and more already in place. Good thinking, btw. Who are you and what do you do? Would love to know you more, and see if we can work together? :)"
What Is The Food Rescue Feature
Zomato had launched its 'food rescue' feature earlier this month, where canceled orders will pop up for nearby customers, who can purchase them at a discounted price, in their original untampered packaging, and receive them in minutes. Given that four lakh orders are cancelled, it leads to food wastage, and ‘food rescue’ will help deal this issue to an extent. The feature has received mixed reactions from people, while some are in favour, others cite safety and hygiene issues.
