The top spenders from Delhi and Dehradun made a significant mark, stocking up on a variety of kitchen staples. Their shopping carts were brimming with essential pantry items like atta, milk, and oil, making it clear they were preparing for a full-on kitchen takeover. Across the country, the most popular buys on Instamart included milk, curd, dosa batter, chips, and soft drinks—items that kept the country’s kitchens well-supplied.

Milky Fact: 1 in every 15 orders had a packet of milk, a true staple for Indian households.
Green and Fresh: 1 in every 5 orders featured either a fruit or a vegetable, indicating that healthy eating was a priority.
Pet-Lover Alert: In Mumbai, one pet lover’s spending spree reached over ₹15 lakh, mainly on dog and cat food, showcasing how pets have become central to many families.
Tech-Savvy Shopper: Meanwhile, a techno-crat from Chennai dropped Rs 1,25,454 on electronics, electricals, and home appliances.
