‘Record capex allocation will boost employment’: Amit Shah on 100 days of Modi 3.0

Shah on 100 days of govt: Union Home Minister Amit Shah hailed the government’s record capital expenditure allocation at Rs 11.11 lakh crore in FY25. Shah while underlining the achievements of Modi 3.0, said, “ The record capex allocation by the government will generate a lot of employment opportunities for the youth.”
Shah in a press briefing, said, “ The capex has turned out to be a major booster for the Indian economy.” In the first full budget of Modi 3.0, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has kept the capital expenditure unchanged at Rs 11.11 lakh crore in FY25. Amit Shah on Make In India Scheme
Amit Shah lauds 'Make in India' as India emerges as a global production hub. Reflecting on the initial skepticism towards the 'Make in India' initiative, Shah highlighted that India is now admired worldwide for its manufacturing capabilities and its 'Digital India' scheme. He noted that many countries are keen to understand and adopt India's digital strategies.
Shah emphasised on the accomplishments of the NDA government over the past decade during a speech on Tuesday. His comments come as the BJP and various ministries gear up to celebrate the NDA government’s 100 days in office, coinciding with Prime Minister Narendra Modi ’s 74th birthday. In honour of this milestone, the BJP has launched an extensive program called ‘Sewa Pakhwada,’ which will run from September 17 to October 2. The initiative aims to highlight the achievements of the government and engage with the public through a series of events and activities.
Amit Shah on Employment and Skills Upgradation
Shah while talking about the schemes to create employment said that the government has unveiled a Rs 2 lakh crore package on youth employment and skills. This will benefit nearly 41 million young people in the country over the next five years.
“The main elements of the package include extending internship opportunities to 1 crore youth at top companies with financial support and one-time assistance,” Shah said. The exercise would involve training 20 lakh people and up-gradation of 1,000 industrial training institutes. Besides, the central government has also added over 15,000 fresh vacancies for enhanced job addition.
