Ola Electric shares went up by Rs 9.53 points and 12.97 per cent in intra-day trade in the morning half of November 27, after the company announced the launch of Ola Gig and S1 Z range of scooters. With prices starting at ₹39,000, the Ola Gig and Ola S1 Z are among the most affordable scooters of the company thus far. Among others, Ola also launched Power Pod, a portable inverter for home.
Ola Electric Gig and S1 Z: What Are The Two New Models?
Ola has introduced two new electric scooter models— the Ola S1 Z and Gig range— with starting prices as low as Rs 39,000. According to the company, the two models are aimed at semi-urban and rural areas with an affordable price tag. The models aim to revolutionise the electric vehicle (EV) market in India by focusing on affordability and accessibility for a wider audience. Reservations for both models have been opened, with deliveries expected to start in April 2025.

Ola PowerPod is a Portable Inverter with a 1.5 kWh battery, with a maximum output of 500GW. The Power Pod is priced at Rs 9,999, and functions as an EV Battery as well as a home inverter.
