'Golden Age Of America Begins Now': Donald Trump Puts 'America First' In His Inaugural Address

Donald Trump was elected as the 47th president of the US on Monday. After being sworn in as  the 47th president, in his inaugural address he said, “ Golden age Of America begins now.”

He went on to add, “Sovereignty will be reclaimed, our safety will be restored, the scale of justice will be rebalanced, Vicious violent weaponization by government and justice department will end.” Trump also said that he would make America great again.

“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States,” Trump said in his oath.

Recalling the attack that happened in Pennsylvania, Trump said, “ My life is saved, I feel god saved my life to make America great again.”

President Trump, in his inaugural address on Monday, declared January 20, 2025, liberation day. He said, “It is my hope that our recent presidential election will be remembered as the greatest and most consequential election in the history of our country. "


On Overhauling Trade System

A staunch proponent of recalibrating the trade ecosystem in the world, he said, “I will immediately begin the overhaul of our trade system to protect American workers and families” as the 47th president of the United States.
He said, “We will tariff and tax foreign countries to enrich our citizens.” “For this purpose, we are establishing the External Revenue Service to collect all tariffs, duties, and revenues.”

On National Energy Emergency

President Donald Trump also talked about declaring a national energy emergency and said, “We will drill baby, drill,” he said during his inaugural address on Monday. Trump claimed in the speech that “the inflation crisis was caused by massive overspending and escalating energy prices.”

The new president also said he would direct his Cabinet to use “the vast powers at their disposal” to lower the cost of goods.

On Rolling Back Clean Energy Initiatives

President Donald Trump highlighted a raft of executive actions that he will take.

In his inaugural address, he said, “With my actions today, we will end the Green New Deal and we will revoke the electric vehicle mandate, saving our auto industry and keeping my sacred pledge to my great American auto workers,”

“In other words, you’ll be able to buy the car of your choice. We will build automobiles in America again at a rate that nobody could have dreamt possible just a few years ago," Trump said.
