Rishad Premji, Executive chairman of Wipro , on Tuesday, said that the difference between pre-COVID-19 India and post-pandemic India is that while earlier, 'people' used to come to India because India was 'cheap', now, they look at India as a place where the 'talent is'. Speaking during a fireside chat at the Bengaluru Tech Summit, Premji said that the customers and decision makers are shifting their 'actioning to India' as power corridors of Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai have become more relevant over those of London and New York.Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Chennai over New York and London - Premji notices changed decision-making"… I find more and more stakeholders and customers are shifting their decision-making, actioning to India. I find that after COVID, what changed is that people came to India because that's where the talent is... (sic)."
