Zomato’s Deepinder Goyal announces Dua Lipa’s concert in India

Dua Lipa in India: Zomato’s Co-founder and CEO Deepinder Goyal has announced on X.com (previously known as Twitter) that Dua Lipa is going to perform in Zomato’s Feeding India concert on November 30 in Mumbai.

Expressing his enthusiasm for the event, Zomato CEO called Lipa ‘an inspiration to millions.’ On X.com, Goyal wrote, “Zomato Feeding India Concert (ZFIC) is back! Headlining this year’s event is my favourite global pop icon, Dua Lipa, an inspiration to millions worldwide! ZFIC is our endeavour to strengthen India’s resolve to eradicate malnutrition and hunger in the country through community mobilisation. This is just the beginning of the movement and I couldn’t be more excited!”

The venue has not yet been specified, though the tickets will be on sale starting August 27, according to the announcement.

The money generated from the concert, along with other donations, will go to Zomato's Feeding India initiative. It is an initiative to unite communities and bring together artists, philanthropists, and the general public in driving hunger to its knees and making a real difference.

The ZFIC has a track record of featuring prominent international artists, which has notably spotlighted its cause. This year’s addition of Dua Lipa is expected to enhance the event's visibility and influence.
