Anupam Mittal takes a jibe at Google over its dominance affecting Indian startups
Mittal has previously criticised Google’s practices, recently calling it a "Digital East India Company" after Shaadi.com was removed from the Play Store.
Google's monopoly concerns: Anupam Mittal, founder of Shaadi.com and one of the popular sharks on Shark Tank India, has taken a dig at Google once again, this time over its alleged monopolistic practices that are not doing much good to Indian startups.

Some of the reported approaches to deal with app removals from the Play Store: Users shared their experience in the discussion thread and shared the solution. Amongst the responses, many commented that Google usually informs the reason for removal by email or in the Google Play Console and that it is possible to appeal, but that fixing such issues can take 2-3 weeks and that the only effective appeals are those made through the Play Store.
Mittal's continuing fight with Google
This is not the first time Mittal has made such accusations against Google; he has banged the company for many of its persistent practices. Recently, when the app Shaadi.com was taken off the Play Store, he called it a "Digital East India Company".
The app was later restored following the question of the Union IT Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw. Vaishnaw said in March that advisories had been sent to Google to support the Indian startup ecosystem, and since that time, all of the apps have been relisted.
