Upcoming cars in India: The Indian automotive industry witnessed some great car launches in August marking a new segment of coupe-SUVs in the affordable segment. Since September is here, India’s leading auto manufacturers like Hyundai, Kia, and Mercedes-Benz in the luxury segment are going to launch some new products this month before the festive season. The automotive industry is evolving with the evolution in technology and consumer demands, opting for SUVs. Let us have a look at the upcoming launches that are scheduled for September.

Tata Curvv:

Tata Motors has recently launched the Curvv’s electrified version, Curvv.EV in the market in August. Since then, Tata Curvv.EV became the most affordable electric coupe-SUV in India. The manufacturer will be announcing the prices of the Curvv on September 2, 2024. The Curvv will be powered by three engine options, out of which two are a turbo petrol engine and a diesel engine. Tata Curvv will be rivaling the Citroen Basalt in the segment.     

Mercedes Benz EQS Maybach:

India’s leading luxury car manufacturer, Mercedes Benz will be launching the more luxurious version of the EQS sedan in the SUV form with Maybach. The EQS Maybach will offer a more luxurious experience over the regular EQS sedan and is expected to offer a bigger battery pack. The EQS Maybach will most likely be priced around the GLS 600 Maybach and will offer a slew of features and a great driving range. The Mercedes Maybach EQS will be launching on September 5, 2024.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift:

Hyundai Motors India will be launching the facelift of their Alcazar SUV in India. The manufacturer has revealed the SUV on its website completely and has started taking bookings as well. The updated Alcazar will be offered with new safety features, updated interiors, and exterior design. The Hyundai Alcazar Facelift will be launching on September 9, 2024.

JSW MG Windsor EV

MG Motor India will be launching their new EV in the market, and this is the first EV that was developed and launched after their partnership with JSW. The Windsor EV will be placed above ZS EV and the EV portfolio of MG Motors India has been well-adopted in the market, having a decent market share. The Windsor EV will be launched on September 11, 2024.

Kia Carnival

Kia will be launching the updated version of their MPV, Carnival in India. Kia Carnival has been an underrated MPV in its segment and has offered decent features and comfortable seating options. The updated Kia Carnival is likely to offer new interiors, updated safety features, and both petrol and diesel engine options. The launch of the Kia Carnival is expected to be around the end of September.
