The BSA Gold Star 650 is currently the most affordable 650cc single-cylinder motorcycle available in India. It was launched on the occasion of Independence Day and features an old-retro design with modernistic appeal. The BSA Gold Star 650 is powered by a 652cc single-cylinder engine, that produces 42 BHP and 55 Nm torque, which is the highest in its competition. The BSA Gold Star 650 rivals the Royal Enfield 650cc twins. The BSA Gold Star 650 is priced at Rs 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in six colour options.
The most expensive 650cc single-cylinder motorcycle: Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono
Ducati has recently launched the Hypermotard with the most powerful 659cc engine to be ever produced for a production motorcycle. The Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono is a high-seating super-cross-styled motorcycle, having a decent feature list and upright seating posture. The Hypermotard 698 Mono is powered by a 659cc, liquid-cooled, Superquadro Mono engine. This engine produces 77.5 BHP and 63 Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed transmission, while a quick-shifter is available as an accessory. The Ducati Hypermotard 698 Mono has a price tag of Rs 16.50 lakh (ex-showroom) and is available in a single variant and single colour option.
