Jawa 42 FJ launched at Rs 1.99 lakh in India, comes with a powerful 350cc engine

Jawa 42 FJ launched: Jawa Yezdi, a two-wheeler brand under Classic Legends has launched their new offering in the Neo-Classic segment, the Jawa 42 FJ at Rs. 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. Currently, there are four different motorcycles offered by the Jawa in the market. This motorcycle is offered with a new powerful 350cc engine and offers a neo-retro design. Jawa has recently updated the Jawa 42 and slashed its prices.

Jawa 43 FJ price and variants:

The new offering by Jawa is priced at Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and is offered in four variants. The new Jawa 42 FJ competes against the Royal Enfield Classic 350, Honda CB350 in the segment. The Jawa 42 FJ is offered with four colour options in dual-tone shades. 

Jawa 42 FJ design:

The design of the Jawa 42 FJ offers a neo-retro design language. There are decent changes in the design, offered with LED headlamps and indicators. At the front and has 17-inch tyres on offer. The seat height is 780mm, which makes it ideal for short heighted passengers as well. The side of the motorcycle exhibits a sporty retro aesthetic. The rear profile of the Jawa 42 FJ has similar presence as the regular available model. The grab handles at the rear provide decent grips to the pillion. The Jawa 42 FJ has a 178mm ground clearance. The speedometre is off set on the Jawa 42 FJ. 

Jawa 42 FJ features: 

The Jawa 42 FJ offers decent features in the segment. For starters, it offers LED headlight and taillight setup, USB charging socket, dual-channel ABS, front and rear disc brakes and all digital instrument cluster. 

Jawa 42 FJ engine specifications:

The new Jawa 42 FJ offered by the Classic Legends subsidiary, Jawa is equipped with a 350cc engine, that churns out 29.2 BHP and 29.6 Nm torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and the exhaust note is thumpy on idle. The new Jawa 42 FJ is equipped with an ANS clutch.
